Day trips can be made from Vilamaniscle to castles, monasteries (the main Sant Pere de Rodes), Greek and Roman historical remains, art galleries, village festivals, wine cooperatives, museums, natural parks such as the Aiguamolls where there is a large bird sanctuary. For children, we have a conservation farm for large and small turtles from around the world next to the house. Ten minutes away is the fortified town of Peralada, where in the summer they hold the International Music Festival, famous for its cava, it also has an 18-hole golf course and the beautiful castle where a luxurious casino is located. Girona International Airport (which appears as Barcelona-Girona Costa Brava) is one hour away and two from Barcelona.
