For 6 people, the accommodation is located on the first floor and consists of a living-dining room with television, a large kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and electric fireplace, three double bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two single beds and the third with a trundle bed). Peaceful and pleasant surroundings, in the middle of nature and with the possibility of carrying out all kinds of activities that take place in the area: walking or cycling routes, visiting the surrounding wineries and tasting wines DO. EMPORDÀ, nautical activities in the town of Llançà or Roses which are located a few minutes from Vilamaniscle or the city of Figueres. The town is quiet, rural and romantic. There is no traffic, the streets are narrow; the extensive vineyards and terraced olive groves begin on the outskirts of the town. You can take relaxing walks or drive through the mountains. However, the extensive sandy beaches and small coves - there are plenty of them 18 minutes away by car - many have parking and are located in a natural and perfect environment. There are no tides or tidal currents. Our region, located at the northern end of the less developed Costa Brava than the coast further south, offers endless possibilities for exploration, ranging from the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres, with its extensive exhibition of the the work of the surrealist painter (1904-1989); in the historic city of Girona, where there are bars, restaurants and fashionable shops in the narrow streets of the Jewish quarter and the old part of the city; the beautiful fishing village of Cadaqués where there are many exhibitions of paintings; in the National Park of Cap de Creus Park with its cliffs, rocky coves, precipices and the wild rock-strewn landscape. Day trips can be made from Vilamaniscle to castles, monasteries (the main Sant Pere de Rodes), Greek and Roman historical remains, art galleries, village festivals, wine cooperatives, museums, natural parks such as the Aiguamolls where there is a large bird sanctuary. For children, we have a conservation farm for large and small turtles from around the world next to the house. Ten minutes away is the fortified town of Peralada, where in the summer they hold the International Music Festival, famous for its cava, it also has an 18-hole golf course and the beautiful castle where a luxurious casino is located. Girona International Airport (which appears as Barcelona-Girona Costa Brava) is one hour away and two from Barcelona.
